With studio recording to begin in earnest soon. In 2008

In October 2008 Shinoda revealed on his blog that he, Phoenix and Hahn had begun working on two song ideas at Hahn's home, with studio recording to begin in earnest soon. In 2008, Bennington announced that Linkin Park's fourth studio release will be a concept album. The band has not released many specific details about the album. In an interview with MTV in November 2008, Bennington stated, "It sounds a little daunting to me, so, I think my confidence level will drop, but when it was presented to us by this friend of ours, we liked the idea. It was an inspiring idea, and it was something we could relate a lot of the things we like to write about to". He also added that the band planned to begin recording in December for a six-week session. The album was expected in mid 2009, but in late March, Mike Shinoda wrote on his blog saying "We're hoping to have Chester's Dead By Sunrise album out this fall, and the new LP album out early next year.
In December 2008, Digidesign gave the band the opportunity to preview the new Pro Tools 8 software. The experiment resulted in an instrumental song performed by Shinoda and Bourdon.
In April 2009, Mike Shinoda revealed on his blog that Linkin Park will be working on the score for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with successful film composer Hans Zimmer. On May 7, it was further confirmed that the song recorded for the film is titled "New Divide," and was released as a single on May 18.A clip from the song can be heard 14 seconds into the new trailer. The music video for "New Divide" was released on June 12, 2009 and was directed by Mr. Hahn. On June 22, 2009, the band played a short set after the premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Posh Creating New Model Agency?

The celebrity fashion rumor mill is on the the go again. Is Post creating a new modeling agency?

Well according to sources around the web, Victoria Beckham is collaborating with her manager, Simon Fuller to start their own modeling agency in New York.

Although neither has confirmed directly, sources are buzzing around the web. Once Contactmusic source was quoted saying:

“Simon knows that Victoria is very savvy when it comes to fashion. His first foray into fashion was to team up designer Roland Mouret and Victoria, which was a huge success. Victoria is a key asset to Simon and he wants her to take on a major role."

Don't remember Simon? He was the manager of the Spice Girls and has a majority stake in the London modeling agency Storm Models. He is rumored to want to duplicate their model in the United States.

True or false? We don't know..but we'll keep you posted.

Linkin Park's wide - ranging musical tastes are reflected in the group's music....

Linkin Park's wide - ranging musical tastes are reflected in the group's music, an eclectic hybrid of hard rock, hip - hop and rap. Three members of the band (guitarist Brad Delson, vocalist Mike Shinoda and drummer Rob Bourdon) met while attending the same southern California high school. Shinoda later met DJ Joseph Hahn while attending art school in Pasadena and enlisted him for the.

More about Evanescence's Amy Lee

Amy Lynn Lee (born December 13, 1981) is an American singer. She founded the band Evanescence with Ben Moody. The two met at a youth camp when Lee was playing Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" on the piano.
Lee was born in Riverside, California. She has a brother and two sisters. At school, Lee was president of the choir council, and appeared in a number of plays. Her family moved to many places, including Illinois, Kansas, and Florida, but finally settled in Little Rock, Arkansas, where Evanescence started. She graduated from Pulaski Academy in the year 2000. She also briefly attended Middle Tennessee State University.
When Lee was 6, her 3 year old sister, Bonnie, died, and thus years later Lee recorded the song "Hello", featured on the Fallen album. This is the only song on Fallen that the band has not performed live.
Since May 2003, she has been in a relationship with Shaun Morgan of the band Seether, and sings with him on Seether's song "Broken".
Lee has a trademark gothic style, marked by her occasional use of gothic make-up (black eyeliner) and unique fashion which consists of often Victorian-styled clothing. She is known to design her own clothes, and sometimes even sew them herself. Starting her own clothing line has not been ruled out, according to her, although she has expressed concerns about the viability of such an endeavour, as she has mentioned that she prefers to create unique hand-crafted costumes rather than mass-produced fashions. In concerts, she often wears a corset or fishnet, and has a notable piercing on her left eyebrow which is visible on the cover of Fallen (Evanescence's debut album), even though fans have noted she appears to have removed it (at least temporarily) in recent concerts.
Many fans praise Lee for her refusal to emulate other celebrities by using sex appeal in her music. She has stated on a number of occasions that she would never "flash" her breasts or engage in other publicity stunts which would draw attention to herself. In fact, in the music video of Evanescence's latest single, "Everybody's Fool," she seeks to mock such artists by suggesting celebrities who use sex to appeal to an audience are "everybody's fool" and are in fact, merely peddling "lies" (the unifying theme of the music video).
Many fans have also suggested that she is very down to earth and refuses to be politically correct. In a recent interview, for instance, she called Velvet Revolver's latest album "a bore." She also uses profanity without hesitation. However, she has said, flat out, she is a Christian and is "very" in touch with her spirit.

Carey's tenth studio album, The Emancipation of Mimi 2005....

Carey's tenth studio album, The Emancipation of Mimi (2005), contained contributions from producers such as The Neptunes, Kanye West and Carey's longtime collaborator, Jermaine Dupri. Carey said it was "very much like a party record ,the process of putting on makeup and getting ready to go out .I wanted to make a record that was reflective of that. The Emancipation of Mimi became 2005's best-selling album in the U.S., and The Guardian reviewer defined it as "cool, focused and urban ,some of] the first Mariah Carey tunes in years I wouldn't have to be paid to listen to again".The album earned Carey a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album, and the single "We Belong Together" won Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song. "We Belong Together" held the Hot 100's number-one position for fourteen weeks, her longest run at the top as a solo lead artist. Subsequently, the single "Shake It Off" reached number two for a week, making Carey the first female lead vocalist to have simultaneously held the Hot 100's top two positions. While topping the charts in 2002, Ashanti was the "featured" singer on the #2 single.

In mid-2006, Carey began The Adventures of Mimi Tour, which was the most successful of her career, although some dates had to be cancelled. She appeared on the cover of the March 2007 edition of Playboy magazine in a non-nude photo session. In early 2007, she was featured with Bow Wow on the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony single "Lil' L.O.V.E.".

Metallica is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles

Metallica is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1981. Founded when drummer Lars Ulrich posted an advertisement in a local newspaper, Metallica's line-up has primarily consisted of Ulrich, rhythm guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, and lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, while going through a number of bassists. Currently, the spot is held by Robert Trujillo.
Metallica's early releases included fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship that placed them as one of the "big four" of the thrash metal subgenre alongside Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax during the genre's development into a popular style. The band earned a growing fan base in the underground music community and critical acclaim, with the 1986 release Master of Puppets described as one of the most influential and "heavy" thrash metal albums. The band achieved substantial commercial success with Metallica (1991), which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. With this release the band expanded its musical direction resulting in an album that appealed to a more mainstream audience.
In 2000, Metallica was among several artists who filed a lawsuit against Napster for sharing the band's copyright-protected material for free without the band members' consent. A settlement was reached, and Napster became a pay-to-use service. Despite reaching number one on the Billboard 200, the release of St. Anger alienated many fans with the exclusion of guitar solos and the "steel-sounding" snare drum. A film titled Some Kind of Monster documented the recording process of St. Anger.
Metallica has released nine studio albums, two live albums, two EPs, twenty-four music videos, and forty-five singles. The band has won nine Grammy Awards, and has had five consecutive albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200, making Metallica the only band, other than the Dave Matthews Band, to do so.The band's 1991 album, Metallica, has sold over 15 million copies in the United States, and 22 million copies worldwide, which makes it the 25th-highest-selling album in the country. The band has sold an estimated 100 million records worldwide as of the release of their latest album, Death Magnetic. As of September 2008, Metallica is the fourth highest-selling music artist since the SoundScan era began tracking sales on May 25, 1991, selling a total of 51,136,000 albums in the United States alone.
