Miho Yoshioka is a up and coming actress in Japan. As a child she was somewhat reserved and shy. During her Jr. High and High School years, she had no idea that she was on the road to becoming a popular Japanese idol. She worked odd jobs after graduation from High School, such as waitressing. When one of her friends (also a race queen) asked her to try out this line of work, she initially declined, but when she met up with the studio executive she decided to audition to become a race queen. She got roles and was obligated to do other modeling such as lingerie, photobooks, and work as a campaign girl. Now she has roles on TV as well as many modeling jobs.

Miho's big break came in 2003 when she was given the role of Officer Saori Saga on the TV series "Taiho shichauzo". Later that year she would land two big screen roles, the first as Kame in Ganryujima, and the second as Azusa Kisaragi in the second film of Masaaki Tezuka's MechaGodzilla trilogy "Gojira tai Mosura tai Mekagojira: Tôkyô S.O.S." (The third film "Godzilla X Godzilla" was scrapped for "Godzilla Final Wars") The role of Azusa would bring her international attention and more television and movie roles. Miho Yoshioka most recently starred in "Anata wo wasurenai" with Takatoshi Kaneko and Hideko Hara.

Miho Yoshioka should continue to gain more roles and popularity. Hopefully we will be able to see more of her on this side of the Pacific in the near future.
