Jerry Lewis Telethon 2010 Performers

Jerry Lewis Telethon 2010 Performers. Jerry Lewis had some harsh words for celebrities like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan who keep getting into trouble. Jerry Lewis might be 84 but he definitely knows how to treat a spoiled young woman!
"I would smack her in the mouth," the 84-year-old star says. "and be arrested for abusing a woman. I would say you deserve this and nothing else: whack! And then, if she’s not satisfied, I’d put her over my knee and spank her!"
Former American Idol star David Archuleta took to Twitter to announce his upcoming appearance on the 2010 Jerry Lewis Telethon, “I’ll be singing a new song Things Are Gonna Get Better tomorrow night in the 10 PM PST hour for the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon."
And he’s not alone.
This weekend, marking the 45th annual Labor Day telethon, the more than 21-hour telethon, beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday night and lasting through Monday evening, will featuring: Enrique Iglesias, Lynyrd Skynryd, WAR, John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting, OneRepublic, Barry Manilow, Herry Lewis, David Archuleta, Alison Sweeney of Days of Our Lives and Biggest Loser, Nancy O’Dell, journalist Jann Carl, Nigel Lythgoe of American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, Richard Belzer of Law & Order, Ace Young, Brandon Barash of General Hospital, Billy Gilman, John Pinette and many more.
As Labor Day approaches, of course the annual Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon also is approaching. Last year he managed to raise $65 million, which is pretty incredible for an economy that’s as depressed as it was last year…and still is. This year the theme is "Make a Muscle, Make a Difference."
The Labor Day Telethon starts tomorrow, September 5 and runs through Labor Day, Sept. 6, 2010.
