New York Fashion Week S/S 2011: Victoria Beckham

Despite admitting on Twitter to being nervous before her show, Victoria Beckham had little to worry about at her S/S '11 presentation. Proving her worth as a solid contender in the world of fashion design, Beckham managed to pull off yet another sophisticated collection in what was her most "directional" offering to date. Using minimalism dressing for the female form as her inspiration, the former Spice Girl showcased another dress-only collection this time featuring draped parachute silk, a bright purple knotted dress, voluminous skirts, and long column gowns that were structured at the waist.
She also used the opportunity to debut her range of handbags - six types of medium-sized chic-style bags, which she dubs the "Victoria bag" because she uses it every day. "A Beckham can replace a Birkin," she was overheard saying.
