You don’t have to be from the West Indies Everyone’s invited to take part in the spectacle of thousands of marchers in colorful costumes ‘jumpin’ down the parade route to the sounds of reggae and calypso.

The West-Indian American Day Parade has become New York City’s largest parade, attracting over 2 million visitors each 12 months.With elaborate rainbow-colored costumes and many live performances and delicious food from various Caribbean islands, the extravaganza is held annually in Brooklyn to celebrate Caribbean-American culture.
